The WEDDINGS Magazine was launched in 2009 with the goal to showcase stylish weddings inspired by the nature and beauty of Colorado. We feel Colorado is the best place on earth to tie-the-knot and we are convinced that after viewing our magazines, website and blog, you’ll agree with us!
We publish one annual print issue {The Best of Colorado} which features the hottest weddings and top vendors of the year. We also publish a second smaller issue dedicated to the Durango [Colorado] market.
Photography plays a major role in our publications. We look for awe-inspiring, jaw-dropping images that inspire use to create a masterpiece. While most magazines plan out photo shoots with models and props months and months in advance, we let the photography from Real Colorado Weddings inspire us. No models, no predetermined look; our audience, real brides, dictate the look and feel of our magazine!
In addition to the magazine, our staff keeps the wedding inspiration flowing daily on our very popular blog. Our website (new design coming soon) showcases Colorado’s premier wedding professionals. Those in the industry that are honest, hardworking, provide exceptional customer service and lend an artistic talent to their field, what we refer to as Colorado's ‘Rock Star’ venues & vendors.

At the helm of WEDDINGS Magazine is publisher Debbie Devereaux. Raised in rural upstate New York and South Florida, it was a brief visit to Vail that convinced Debbie she belonged in Colorado. She moved to the ski town just two weeks after her initial trip. Now calling Colorado her full time home for the last decade, she can’t imagine living anywhere else. With a background in business development, web programming and graphic design as well as having published several magazines including the Western Colorado Wedding Guide she now lends her skills and love of the outdoors to the WEDDINGS Magazine.
In her own words….
I am a nature girl, computer geek and magazine junkie. I subscribe to every pretty magazine I come across (I’ve recently realized I’d need to rent an entire semi to take all the magazines I’ve been collecting to recycle). I love to create beautiful things, I'm not a painter (maybe a good hobby for retirement) my artistic canvas is the Magazine (and my flower garden).
When I'm not working on the Magazine, I'm outdoors enjoying nature. My favorite shirt (I mean favorite ... I bought three) says it all, “When in the mountains – unplug" … and that’s what I do. So, if I don’t immediately return your phone call, email, text or tweet … I’m somewhere in the mountains skipping through wildflowers!
